IMPORTANT SENIOR DATES: Check out these links for news about graduation. Senior calendar and parent letter.
ACC EARLY COLLEGE START STUDENTS: The ACC ECS advisor will be here the morning of May 8 to pick up any remaining advising forms for enrollment for this fall semester. This is mandatory step if you plan to take ACC English 4 or ACC Government. See your counselor or Ms. MacLachlan, Transition Coordinator, with any questions.
CHEERLEADING: Congratulations to the new squads for 2008-2009.
SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS: Leander ISD is offering a variety of sports camps this summer. Camp registration runs April 21-June 26. Info.
CREDIT BY EXAM FOR ACCELERATION: Students seeking placement credit in a subject area in which they have not received prior instruction may earn credit by taking special exams. More.
GOLF TOURNAMENT: The Leander ISD athletic booster club is hosting a golf tournament on Monday, June 9 at Avery Ranch. More.
NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS: Support the powerlifting and football teams as they MAX OUT at  6 p.m. Monday, May 5th in the Little Gym.

SUMMER SCHOOL

SENIORS: Graduation is at 9 a.m. Friday, June 6 at the Erwin Center. Check out scholarship info here. Click here to go to a site about Project Graduation.

ATHLETIC PHYSICALS:
for the 2008-2009 school year will be on August 2 at Vista Ridge HS. Cost is $20. (Make checks out to LISD). There are new forms (4) that must be completed. Old forms will NOT be accepted. There will be echocardiograms available also for $5. (Make checks out to Kathy Crowell) Click here for the schedule and forms.
WEAR YOUR SPIRIT ON YOUR FEET: Cheerleaders are selling Leander High School flip flops. For more information, see the order form.
JUNIORS:

FRESHMEN:

EXTENDED LIBRARY HOURS:
The library is now open until 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
CRIMESTOPPERS PROGRAM:

CHECK POLICY: If you are depositing a check into your lunch account, be sure to have a driver's license and phone number listed. For more info, click here.
PARKING PERMITS:
Are on sale during lunch. Students will need $25, a current driver's license and proof of insurance. All checks much have driver's license and a phone number to be accepted.
GETTING FRESHMEN READY FOR COLLEGE:
A new freshmen elective is preparing students for college eligibility and success. Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is based on a national program that stresses writing, inquiry, collaboration and reading. Students must be selected for the program.
