LHS Food Pantry - Please help us fill our LHS food pantry.  Our food pantry helps our students and families who are in need.
Please drop any cans or no perishable foods off in Ms. Hesson’s room 2107 or Mrs. Kemp’s room 2109 by December 21!

 Holiday Giveathon (NHS) – LHS needy students (backpack program) wish list for Christmas.  Like and Angel tree but for our most vulnerable students on campus. 16 families have wish list and will be adopted by students and organizations.  Students will raise money or buy gifts for the families.  Wrapping party on the 12th of December.  Money and items  accepted through Dec 12.

 Holiday Meal Box (C2 ,Chick-fil-A Leader Academy) – LHS families who are food insecure who need food over the break.  25 families need help with food over the long school break with free breakfast and lunch are not available.  Click link below for all the details.

Spanish Club Toy Drive –  (Spanish Club) – Donating toys to the Leander Police Dept for the Blue Santa Drive.  Toys are distributed to needy children who might not otherwise have a Christmas gift.  Toys may be put in any box, or 2nd period teachers box for a competition.  Last day of collection will be December 7th.

 Dell Children’s Hospital Sock Project (HOSA) – Collecting new socks and painting the bottoms with puffy paint for patients at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin.  Collecting new socks from newborn to Adult.  Must be new and not used.  Also collecting puffy paint to be used on the socks.  Students will be decorating these throughout the month of December.  Decorating will begin before school December 3rd in Room 2111
